Week of Eats

It has been a largely quiet week, which is fine as weeks go, with a couple of lunches (one free, thanks to zh) in the early part, with one more coming up tomorrow. My cousin got some trinkets from Malaysia, a keychain for me, and a private jet for Mr. Ham:

Currently applying for zoning permission for a landing strip

Mr. Ham got the better part of that deal.

I have no idea why, but people, ranging from taxi drivers to professors, keep commenting that I "look young". Well, I'm in no particular rush to age; I am certain that time will find me of its own accord. Maturing is overrated in any case, most of it appears to be giving in and accepting what can't be done.

One thing I was forced to accept is that corns can have corns under them. There went most of my exercise plans for the week.

Watched England take on Argentina in the Rugby World Cup, and it's growing on me. Not as much as real football, it goes without saying:

When I say football, I mean football

Mr. Ham (0/200 seeds): Third time lucky, surely! Fulham to beat Blackburn by more than one goal (at 2.70)

FAKEBERT: I think I detect a pattern behind your punting...

Mr. Ham: And what of it?

FAKEBERT (291/200 seeds): Oh, nothing. Everything on United to beat Bolton (at 1.33)
