Did remember to drop by the MARUAH That We May Dream Again event at Hong Lim Park, but ended up spending more time scouring the area for a POSB ATM to withdraw funds for the books (wound up at Chinatown MRT - got one of everything) than sitting around. To my untrained eye, there were about five hundred people there.

[N.B. Curious about the accuracy of my estimation, a quick search revealed that crowd counting is a science in itself (see a computerized method and some challenges). While this task seems doable enough with direct overhead shots and high enough resolution, the far more common angled shots are rather harder to deal with]
