![]() Hey, this viral marketing gig pays the bills (Source: GPT Image 2) America's likely energy squeezy-squeezy strategy has been going swimmingly over the past week or so, with multiple Saudi Arabian oil refineries reportedly struck by Houthi forces, with attacks by drones launched from Iraq also disabling one of their main export pipelines. FIFA Peace Prize laureate TRUMP has been pursuing a gentleman's agreement between Russia and Ukraine for them not to target each other's energy infrastructure in the meantime, but this has apparently been ignored by the warmongers on both sides, with Ukraine reportedly blowing up a Szyran facility, and Russia duly undertaking their own blanket retaliation. Oh well, TRUMP really tried so hard... and if it comes down to that, one supposes the U.S. would not be too torn up at effectively trading Ukraine's power plants for Russia's... There hasn't been too much movement on the ally "head tax" issue either, with South Korea still wavering on an official decision before their foreign minister's meeting with Rubio in Washington at least, where the latter should probably be requesting a show of loyalty, as demonstrated by their troop contributions to the Vietnam and Iraq Wars previously. Getting a concrete deployment from Seoul should go some way towards having the European slackers lift some fingers too, and Saudi supply being cut - amidst China's massive demand coming back online before their hole cards get revealed - may moreover aid in fostering some urgency there and elsewhere, before the situation gets out of hand. The old continent has certainly been dragging their feet on getting involved, with the European Union coming up with the so-far performative gesture of "associate membership" for Canada, with the main feature apparently a student exchange programme; while Australia (and others) may be wanting in on the posturing too, it remains that Europe is hardly all that united itself, before recalling how they effectively abandoned Canada to bend the knee early on tariffs previously (and which may be returning). In any case, as explained last September, it's easy to hold hands and smile for the camera, but entirely different when actual trade concessions and deficits come into play... ![]() Undeniable video evidence of TRUMP recruiting Rambo for fresh operations in Iran, where he's planning to keep the oil too [N.B. He cracks a joke at the expense of his Secretary of War too!] (Source: youtube.com) [To be continued...]
